CloudScale Global Enterprises

Location: Seattle, WA

Lead the global cloud architecture practice, defining cloud-native reference architectures, migration patterns, and security guardrails for 45 engineering pods comprising 280+ engineers.
Spearheaded the phased migration of 35 legacy on-premises workloads to AWS (EKS, Amazon Aurora, S3), delivering all milestones 6 weeks ahead of schedule and reducing on-premises data center lease costs by $3.4M annually.
Conducted structured AWS Well-Architected reviews across 60+ critical production workloads, remediating 180+ high-risk architecture, reliability, and security findings.
Established an enterprise-wide FinOps governance framework utilizing Karpenter autoscaling, Graviton instance migrations, and automated spot orchestration, slashing annual AWS operational expenditure by $1.8M (28%).
Designed a multi-region active-active disaster recovery topology with Route 53 latency routing and Aurora Global Database replication, reducing RPO from 4 hours to sub-minute and RTO to under 12 minutes.
Authored formal Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and chaired the Architecture Review Board (ARB), aligning technical roadmap investments with multi-million-dollar executive business OKRs.

Senior Solutions Architect

Jun 2018 - Mar 2022

Horizon Tech Systems

Location: San Francisco, CA
