CloudStream Technologies

• Austin, TX

• Architected and managed production-grade AWS multi-account infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt, standardizing 40+ microservice environments and decreasing environment spin-up times by 85%. • Designed and established end-to-end GitOps delivery workflows utilizing GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, slashing deployment cycle times from 4 hours to 12 minutes while eliminating 95% of manual rollout errors. • Managed multi-cluster Amazon EKS deployments across 3 regions, integrating Istio service mesh for canary deployments, mTLS traffic encryption, and automated circuit breaking. • Spearheaded an enterprise-wide cloud cost optimization initiative (FinOps), implementing Karpenter for dynamic node autoscaling and migrating non-critical workloads to AWS Spot instances, saving $240,000 annually. • Enhanced system observability by designing unified Prometheus and Grafana telemetry dashboards with custom PagerDuty escalation policies, cutting Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) by 50% and Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR) by 42%. • Championed shift-left security (DevSecOps) by embedding Snyk and Trivy container vulnerability scans into pull request checks, mitigating 90% of high-severity vulnerabilities prior to production merging.

Projects

Automated Multi-Region Kubernetes Disaster Recovery Framework

Jan 2024

• Built an automated DR failover engine using Terraform, ExternalDNS, Route53 latency routing, and Velero for snapshot backups. • Validated cross-region cluster recovery within 15 minutes during disaster simulation drills, satisfying strict enterprise SLA requirements.

Self-Service Developer Platform (IDP)

Jan 2024

• Created a lightweight internal developer platform using Backstage and Helm chart templates, allowing engineers to self-provision compliant sandbox environments within 5 minutes. • Enforced integrated guardrails including RBAC boundaries, resource quotas, and mandatory linting checks.
